Minimum Nights
LakePointe Resort requires a three-night minimum stay in the cabins from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day weekend. A two-night minimum stay in the cabins is required any other time of year. A three-night minimum stay is also required in the motel on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Poker Run weekends.
Terms of Payment
All payments to LakePointe must be made by cash, personal check, or major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). To make a reservation, have your credit card handy and call us toll free at 1-877-287-2036. To reserve your cabin a 50% deposit is required. At the time of check-in we will accept cash, personal check, traveler’s checks, or any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express).
We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate pets of any size. This policy is strictly enforced. Any evidence of pets in our cabins or motel will require additional cleaning and a $200 fee will be charged.
Check In & Check Out
Check-in is 4 PM CST. Please do not try to check in early unless previous arrangements have been made. If you will be arriving after 8 PM, please call the office and let us know so we will have your keys ready for after hours pick up. Check-out time is 11 AM CST. You will be expected to put trash in the receptacle located outside, wash all dishes, secure the cabin with all doors and windows locked and turn the lights out.
The number of occupants is restricted to the number listed on the website & brochure for all cabins and motel rooms by order of the local fire marshal code. There must be at least one (1) adult age 21 or older in residence & on the premises at all times if
children are present.
Cabin Cancellations
To cancel or change a reservation, you must call 30 days prior to your arrival date to make your cancellation or change your reservation dates. If you cancel 30 days or more before your reserved date, we will refund your deposit, less a 20% processing fee. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your reserved date your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Motel Cancellation
A seven (7) day notice is required or a $30 per room per day fee is charged.
Housekeeping & Amenities
All cabins are have a supply of linens and towels. All cabins are fully equipped along with a supply of soap, dish-washing detergent, toilet paper, and trash bags. Housekeeping does not clean the cabins daily. When you need towels, please bring the used ones to the office and we will exchange them for clean towels. The motel rooms are cleaned daily.
Our cabins and motel rooms do not have telephones. There is a telephone available in the common area for local calls, 800-number calls or calling card calls.
Hot Tubs
Please remember there are certain health risks that are associated with using a Hot Tub. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival, therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. Hot Tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. DO NOT STAND OR SIT ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. When not using the Hot Tub, leave the cover on so the Hot Tub will stay warm. Do not leave the jets on high speed when not using the hot tub. Please shower before using the Hot Tub as some body lotions/etc. mixed with the Hot Tub chemicals can cause a rash on your skin.
We will do everything we can to make sure your cabin is ready for you. Any damages or problems not reported by the tenant upon arrival will be charged to the tenant. No refunds will be issued for early departure, malfunctions in the equipment (i.e. Hot Tubs, Jacuzzi, televisions) or weather conditions. Renters will be held responsible for any damaged or missing items or damage to the premises during their stay. We cannot be responsible for any items lost or stolen during your stay. We do everything to keep all equipment in good working order. If something is not working properly, we will do our best to get it up and running for your stay.
